Dr. Ivan Madjarov was elected Chairman of the Professional Organization of the 68th Regular Reporting and Election Meeting of the Bulgarian Medical Association in June 2018.
Prior to his presidency, he was the manager of the hospital “Palmed” in Plovdiv and the chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Hospital Association.
 From 2013 to 2014 he was the director of the Regional Health Insurance Fund Plovdiv.
From 2008 to 2013 he was the manager of the hospital “Parvomay” EOOD. From 1994 to 2008 he was a resident at the Department of ENT Diseases at the Plovdiv Hospital.
Dr. Ivan Madjarov graduated from the Medical University of Plovdiv. He has a major in Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases and a Master's Degree in Health Management.
